Gaza's Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries Devastated: Palestinian Ministry
Due to continuous Israeli attacks, the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture in Gaza has recorded almost complete loss of the agricultural, livestock, and fishery industries in the area.
According to ministry spokesman Muhammad Abu Uda, since the crisis started, approximately 85% of agricultural goods have been destroyed. Apart from that, the fisheries sector has been wiped off while the cattle industry suffers 95% losses.
Abu Uda underlined that the attack on Gaza's fishing boats has aggravated the situation even further by depriving fishermen of means to maintain their livelihoods.
In Gaza, where farming, cattle, and fishing are major businesses, the destruction has sparked questions regarding food security and economic stability.
