Germany admits to providing Ukraine with old military equipment
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany has said that his country has sent Ukraine old tools and weapons that do not work as military aid to that country. It has been 17 months since the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, with ten thousand people killed and millions of others displaced, yet Kiev and its Western allies continue to oppose proposals presented by several countries to end the war and restore peace in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is said to be an opportunity to download and use the old weapons of many European countries of the Western Military Alliance NATO and also to use weapons made by American companies. Annalena Baerbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, has admitted in an interview that Berlin has provided the Kiev government several times with old and outdated weapons and military equipment and that they knew from the beginning that some of these weapons could not be used. In April last year, Russia sent a diplomatic letter to all NATO member countries regarding their move to send weapons to Ukraine. And the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov said that any shipment of weapons sent to Ukraine will be the target of Russian attacks.
