Greenpeace banned by Russia

The Russian Attorney General's Office bans Greenpeace from the country, declaring it an "unwanted organization". Greenpeace is "a threat to order and security in the Russian Federation", explains the prosecutor. Its activity aims to "obstruct the implementation of programs of the Russian state" in the field of infrastructure and energy. Moreover, since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, "Greenpeace activists have engaged in anti-Russian propaganda, calling for the strengthening of sanctions".
