Hamas Welcomes Tulkarem Operation in Response to Israeli Actions

The Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine, commonly known as Hamas, has praised a recent anti-Israeli operation in Tulkarem, situated in the West Bank of the Jordan River. The incident, which took place on Tuesday morning, involved Palestinian resistance fighters shooting at an Israeli military vehicle near the village of Ramin, resulting in injuries to three Israeli soldiers.

In a statement reported by the Arab News Agency, Hamas characterized the Tulkarem operation as a justified response to what it describes as the Zionist regime's ongoing crimes and brutal massacres against Palestinian civilians, particularly in the Gaza Strip. The statement emphasized that such actions are a natural reaction to the severe military assaults carried out by Israel.

Continued Resistance Urged

Hamas called upon Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem to persist in their resistance and defense of their land and people. The group asserted that the appropriate response to Israeli occupation is through sustained resistance operations.
