An international coalition of 232 human rights organizations has called on various countries involved in the development of the F-35 fighter jets to stop providing Israel with spare parts for the aircraft.

The Australian Centre for International Justice (ACIJ) announced in a statement on Tuesday that civil society organizations are calling on all government partners in the F-35 fighter jet supply chain, including Australia, to immediately cease direct and indirect supply of spare parts and equipment to the Israeli regime.

The countries involved in the production of F-35 fighter jets, including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom and the United States, have so far not responded to human rights organizations’ demands to stop supplying Israel with spare parts for the aircraft. The signatories to the call include human rights organizations from Europe, the United States and Asia, as well as the Arab World.

Western countries, especially the United States, followed by Germany and the United Kingdom, are the main sponsors of weapons for the Zionist regime. These countries, especially the United States, played a major role in sponsoring military equipment and various types of weapons for Israel in the 15-month war against the people of Gaza. The United States has continued to provide weapons to Israel during the second term of Donald Trump's presidency, and in the most recent step, Trump has ordered the delivery of 1,800 MKA-84 bombs to Israel, the supply of which was suspended during the Biden administration. Israel Katz, the Minister of Defense of the Zionist regime, has emphasized that the weapons are very important for the regime's air force. He said his American counterpart has approved that the country will continue to protect Israel's security.

The Zionist regime of Israel is among the early users of the fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets, and the United States has provided the regime with these modern aircraft. The Israeli Air Force used F-35 fighter jets to carry out heavy attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip, killing a martyr and wounding thousands of Palestinians. The attacks have also damaged and destroyed residential infrastructure and public institutions in the area.

The effects of the war and Israel's brutal attacks on Gaza

Tel Aviv wants to buy a large number of the F-35 fighter jets from the United States. The fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets are involved in various operations with Israel and have been used repeatedly in the Gaza war and air strikes in Lebanon and Syria. To maintain its air superiority, Israel has ordered a total of 75 fifth-generation F-35 fighter jets, which have been operating in the regime's air force since December 2017.

Considering that the F-35 fighter jets were originally produced internationally and several countries are involved in the production of spare parts for these aircraft; human rights organizations have called on these countries to stop using the Zionist regime's spare parts for these aircraft. However, it is expected that these countries, especially the United States, have not heeded this international request and will continue to support and assist the Israeli killing machine by providing it with technical and logistical support for the F-35 fighter jets.

The United States, a strategic ally of Israel, has played a key role in the regime's brutal and genocidal attack on the people of the Gaza Strip by sending part of the spare parts for American fighter jets to serve the Zionist regime's air force, specifically loading the planes with thousands of rock-breaking bombs. The United States should be mentioned as a direct partner of Israel in the crime and genocide of the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip, considering its all-round political, diplomatic, military and security support to Tel Aviv. Likewise, despite the fact that Israel's crimes, especially the genocide of the people of Gaza, as well as Israel's use of hunger as a weapon to kill the inhabitants of the area, are clearly evident, the United States opposes the actions of international institutions such as the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to monitor and hear the case of these crimes.

Gaza

Not only that, but on several occasions the United States has used its veto power in the United Nations Security Council to defend and defend Israel in order to continue the war on Gaza.
