With the completion of the work of the Iranian sports delegation at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Imam Khamenei, thanked the Iranian athletes, heads of federations and coaches in his message.  

After the letter of the head of the National Olympic Committee of Iran to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, in which he reported to the leader about the sports and cultural achievements of the members of the sports team of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Olympic Games and filling the hearts of the sports-loving people of Iran with joy, Imam Khamenei expressed his sincere gratitude to the high-spirited and strong-willed athletes of Iran. . "I am sincerely grateful to the beloved athletes, presidents of federations and coaches, and the National Olympic Committee of Ian, who gave joy and pride to Iran in the sports arena in the last competitions. Good luck to you, God willing."

At the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the Iranian delegation won medals in several disciplines and became the team champion in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, and the Olympic vice-champion in taekwondo. Among more than 200 countries participating in the Olympic Games, Iran ranked 21st, higher than Ukraine (22nd), Belgium (25th), Denmark (29th), Austria (36th), South Africa (44th), Egypt (52nd), Turkey (64th) and India (71st).
