International Children's Day and sad days for the children of Gaza and Lebanon

International Children's Day has been celebrated around the world as the killing of children in Gaza and Lebanon by the Zionist regime continues without mercy, an issue that has also raised concerns for the United Nations Children's Organization UNICEF.

James Elder, UNICEF Spokesperson has addressed the world in this regard by telling them: "The killing of children in Gaza and Lebanon has become normal, and this normal situation is very dangerous."

He said: In the past two months, more than 200 children have been killed and 1,100 others have been injured in Lebanon, when it is clear that the killing of children is considered a normal thing and is a great danger."

Since the beginning of the war in Gaza, more than 15,000 Palestinian children have been martyred and thousands of others have been injured. Many children in different parts of Gaza are also at risk of being killed due to hunger. According to recently published statistics, about 4,000 Palestinian children have died of starvation, and a large number of them are at risk due to extreme hunger, disease, displacement and lack of basic needs.

The United Nations says Israel's offensive has turned Gaza into a "cemetery" for children in a year of war. This is in a situation where the deaths of children in Gaza no longer affect public opinion, where even the frequent publication of pictures of children brutally killed by the Zionists in the media is now considered a normal thing that does not arouse strong feelings of the people.

The killing of Palestinian children continues while the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which Israel has also signed, officially and clearly emphasizes the sincere right of children to live, where one of its elements emphasizes the necessity of preventing violence and preparing basic equipment for life. of children. However, not only is this agreement not observed at all in the Gaza war, but the silence of the international community and human rights institutions in relation to the crimes of the brutal Israeli regime has fueled the continued killing of Palestinian women and children carried out mercilessly by the administration of Zionist.

The children of Gaza are brutally killed and injured every day by the Zionists

Ismail Baqaei Hamaneh, the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, wrote on the X social network in connection with the celebration of International Children's Day that: "November 20, International Children's Day, is a reminder of the rights of all children to live in peace and security. Despite all the international laws, but the children of Gaza and Lebanon are not only killed intentionally in the war, but even those who are alive live in fear of the war, without shelter and without medicine and health care."

Reflecting the killing of children and the sad condition of life of thousands of children in Gaza in various media has not been able to motivate many governments of the world to take action against the cruelty and oppression that have been done to these children. As we can see, Western governments continue to support Israel despite the tragic killings against innocent women and children.

Anas al-Sharif, a Palestinian journalist, has published pictures of children who died of starvation in al-Tafa, east of Gaza. Some time back, he described the sad situation of a school bombed by Israel, and wrote on X's social network as follows: When I arrived at the scene of the massacre, my ability to speak disappeared and I could not speak. I am tired and full of pain due to the amount of body parts and blood that I saw today that are spread everywhere."

The English newspaper Guardian has also written in relation to this issue that: "We have received reports from doctors in Gaza which show that, contrary to the claims of the Zionist army, the targets and drones of this regime are targeting children "directly" On November 20, International Children's Day is celebrated in the world, while the children of Gaza not only do not have the opportunity to celebrate, but even their suffering seems normal to many Western media, which also worries UNICEF officials.

The truth of the matter is that the killing and torture of innocent Palestinian children has caused deep wounds in the human conscience. It is time for the international community to stop the perpetrators of these horrific crimes against Palestinian children.
