Islamic Jihad in Israel: 'admit defeat to avoid further losses'
"If the enemy really wants to prevent more of his forces from being captured or killed, he should admit his defeat to the Palestinian resistance." This was declared by the general secretary of the Islamic Jihad resistance movement in a televised speech broadcast yesterday Sunday, as Operation Storm Al-Aqsa entered its second day, the large-scale surprise attack which took place on Saturday at dawn from part of the Palestinian resistance. It is Hamas's largest military offensive against the occupying regime in recent years. Israeli media say more than 700 Israeli settlers and soldiers were killed as a result of the operation and more than 2,000 Israelis were injured. Meanwhile, unofficial estimates indicate that around 750 Israeli soldiers and settlers are missing.
The military wing of the Hamas resistance movement says its fighters have managed to capture a new group of Israeli forces,... as a large-scale operation against the occupying regime continues. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Hamas Brigades -Qassam, Abu Ubaida, in an audio message recorded Sunday as Operation Storm Al-Aqsa, the large-scale surprise attack at dawn on Saturday by the Palestinian resistance Hamas, entered its second day. The Israeli army officially confirmed that there are captured Israelis in the enclave, but did not provide a precise number. The Qassam Brigades claimed to have taken dozens of officers and soldiers. "They were placed in safe places and in the tunnels of the resistance," Abu Ubaida further added quoted ME.
