Israel punishes 50 thousand Palestinian children

While they were playing in the village of Isawiya in Bayt al-Muqaddas [Jerusalem], Zionist forces detained these two Palestinian children. These are recurring images in the occupied Palestinian territories.The Palestinian Prisoner's Society estimates that since 1967, the Zionists have imprisoned around 50,000 Palestinian youngsters.

Zionist troops frequently assault and mistreat the teenagers who are prisoners in Damon.According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, Israeli officials systematically torture Palestinian children by depriving them of water and food for extended periods of time, interrogating them while using abusive language, and using other coercive measures.

Excluding those already in custody, 600 Palestinian youths were put under house arrest in 2022, severely limiting their freedom of movement and subjecting them to constant electronic monitoring.Due to their home imprisonment, some of these youngsters have been cut off from their relatives and even their city.Parents are often compelled to sell assets and provide the money to the Zionist government to secure the freedom of their children.In the words of the Palestinian Detainee Affairs Commission, "these arrests have deprived Palestinian children of proper education and have instilled feelings of fear and distress within them."Many of these children are being detained just for playing outdoors, and if they hurl stones, they would be targeted with live ammunition.
