The Israeli government has received a shipment of MK-84 heavy bombs from the United States after President Donald Trump lifted a ban on the sale of the weapons that had been imposed by the administration of his predecessor Joe Biden. This was confirmed by Israel Katz, the administration's defense minister.

Speaking after the arrival of the arms shipment on Saturday night, Katz said: "The arms shipment that arrived tonight, provided by the Trump administration, is of great importance to the Air Force and the IDF and is further evidence of the stronger alliance that exists between Israel and the United States."

The MK-84 is a 2,000-pound unguided bomb, capable of rupturing thick concrete and steel and causing a large-area explosion when it falls.

The previous Biden administration refused to provide the Israeli occupation regime with these dangerous bombs by 'preventing' their impact on densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip.

However, throughout the brutal war and genocide carried out by the Zionist regime starting on October 7, 2023, the previous US government provided the regime with thousands of 2,000-pound bombs before later blocking the shipment of one shipment, the ban on which was lifted by Trump last month.

The new shipment of MK-84 heavy bombs arrived after several days of concerns that a ceasefire agreement reached last month in Gaza could be broken after Hamas accused the Israeli regime of not implementing the agreement as agreed by both sides.

Washington announced that it has provided the Zionist regime of Israel with arms and military equipment worth billions of dollars since the usurping regime launched a brutal war and genocide against the Palestinians of Gaza.

Gideon Sa'ar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Israeli occupation regime, has been accused of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.

The Hind Rajab Institute has announced that it has filed an indictment with the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue an arrest warrant for the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist regime on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during the regime's brutal invasion of Gaza that began on October 7, 2023.

According to the Hind Rajab Foundation website and a statement from the foundation, the complaint under the Rome Statute identifies several serious charges, including war crimes (Article 8 of the Rome Statute) for mass punishment and forcible transfer of people, against Gideon Sa'ar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist regime.

Sa'ar is one of the senior members of Benjamin Netanyahu's government and a key figure in the administration's decision-making process who plays a key role in policy formulation and implementation.

The Hind Rajab Institute also accuses the Israeli foreign minister of using hunger as a weapon of war because he supports Israel's blockade of Gaza, which has imposed restrictions on food, water and medical supplies and caused a severe famine.
