Israeli troops surround Indonesian hospital in Gaza
The Israeli military surrounded the Indonesian Hospital in the Palestinian Gaza Strip today and bombarded the area around this medical center.
This siege occurred when the Israeli military continued to intensify attacks on health facilities in Gaza in the past week, including Al Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the territory. Al Jazeera journalist Safwat Kahlout on Monday (20/11/2023) reported that several people living near the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza explained that the hospital complex had been surrounded by Israeli troops and military vehicles. Several people reported that Israeli troops also continued to bombard the area around the Indonesian Hospital located in Beit Lahiya, north Gaza, on a large scale. According to the Palestinian news agency, Wafa, Israel also deployed bulldozers in operations at the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza. The Director of the Indonesian Hospital stated that this hospital was attacked by Israel for 4 hours. and added that the Zionist regime is expected to ask them to evacuate this hospital as well as Al-Shifa Hospital. According to the Director of Indonesian Hospital, the exact number of fatalities and losses is not yet known. The Palestinian Minister of Health in Gaza also said that the Zionist regime's deployment of snipers around Indonesian hospitals triggered panic among patients and medical staff. Western security and military support, especially the United States, for Israel under the pretext of self-defense has practically become a green light and permission for this regime to brutally kill Palestinian civilians, especially children and women.
