Italy-Algeria: strengthen bilateral relations

"Algeria is a reliable partner of absolute strategic importance for Italy", said Prime Minister Meloni in Algiers after the meeting with President Tebboune. "We have signed a joint declaration which underlines the excellent relations but says that we must not stop here, we must further strengthen this cooperation" He then underlines: "Algeria is fundamental for the Mattei Plan for Africa" and "extraordinary bridge with the 'Italy, especially on energy". It is the main supplier of gas, against the "energy mix" crisis.
