The South African Foreign Minister calls for a boycott of Israeli products
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa, Naledi Pandor, has called on trade unions to boycott Israeli products, explaining that the Palestinian people need medical supplies. Naledi Pandor has asked millions of people to give their donations by giving aid and transporting it to the Egyptian border because of the brutal attacks that continue to be carried out by Israel against the Gaza Strip. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa, who was addressing a conference on "Humanitarian Problems" organized by the International Labor Organization, has condemned Israel's attacks on Gaza, stressing that the source of this conflict is "continuing to occupy them against Palestinian land laws." Naledi Pandor also condemned the land, sea and air blockade imposed by Israel against the people of the Gaza Strip for several years now, noting that Palestinians "have no freedom of movement", "they are denied the freedom to enter and leave their lands, and the rights of children to get an education."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Africa has continued to question while wearing a Palestinian scarf that: "Why is it allowed for a Palestinian journalist to be killed, and not for a Canadian journalist?" He has also criticized the silence of the West regarding the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh, a journalist of Al Jazeera, who said: "She was killed in front of the eyes of the world and the media." Naledi Pandor has reiterated his position of completely rejecting Israel as an observer member in the African Union, stressing that "South Africa will never accept this issue." Earlier, President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa expressed his support for the struggle for the freedom of Palestine, while the Gaza Strip continues to be besieged and heavily bombed by the Israeli army.
