Italy, demonstration against war

Exactly one year after the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, which caused thousands of civilian victims and revived NATO imperialism, unleashing the global arms race with the very heavy effects on the economy and on the cost of living we are all experiencing, USB is back in the streets to shout once again "Put down your weapons, raise your wages", the watchword that has accompanied all the mobilizations of these twelve months.
We want peace and wages, against war and the cost of living economy which fattens the bosses, multinationals and financial speculation, strangling the populations of the whole world. The demonstration organized by the Calp of Genoa is joined by the national mobilization already called by USB Mare e Porti with a 24-hour strike throughout Italy for safety at work, after the recent deaths of two dock workers, so that the money destined for the war escalation are intended to protect the health of workers, and to stop the passage of weapons in Italian ports.
