Italy wants Israel to stop military operations in Rafah
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy has asked the Zionist regime of Israel to stop its military operations in the city of Rafah, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Antonio Tajani has made the call in his telephone conversation with Israel Katz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel and added that there is a need for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
"The Italian government calls on Israel to stop the military operations in Rafah. HAMAS must immediately release the hostages, and there is also a need for a ceasefire and to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza," added Tajani.
The high-level Italian diplomat has made it clear that measures should be taken to prevent the worsening of the dangerous and volatile situation in the West Asian region.
He has said that the issue of the state of human rights today is of great importance for guaranteeing peace, which is one of the urgent issues in the international arena, and giving basic rights to the people of Palestine.
