John Bolton's warning about the consequences of Trump's actions
In response to the ex-US president's military disclosures, the former US national security adviser said that Donald Trump is not a good role model and his actions could have "widespread consequences."
John Bolton did not call it "unexpected" in response to Trump's conversation with Anthony Pratt about sensitive information about US nuclear submarines on Friday, the AN news agency reported.“A very knowledgeable person told me during the 2016 campaign that Trump says whatever comes to mind,” Bolton added.
Bolton noted that following the example of former US President Donald Trump would affect the entire American bureaucracy and cause a lot of pessimism and mistakes.A few months after leaving the White House, Trump revealed confidential information about nuclear submarines in a conversation with an Australian billionaire.
Pratt is the owner of Pratt Industries, one of the largest packaging companies in the world, based in the United States.Trump told Pratt he believed Australia should start buying nuclear submarines from the United States, according to people familiar with the matter. He provided the Australian billionaire with information about how many nuclear warheads these submarines typically carried and exactly how far away they could not be tracked.Bolton, who served for about a year as national security adviser during Trump's presidency and was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during George W. Bush's presidency, has previously been a sharp critic of Trump.
