Kissinger warned of US isolation in the world
The former US Secretary of State warned of the isolation of this country in the world.According to IAAA News Agency, Henry Kissinger said that the United States will be isolated if Washington fails to balance its own interests with the needs of the world community.
Pointing to the spread of the "America First" theory, he added that it focuses too much on American rather than global interests.
Recall that the administration of former US President Donald Trump has adopted the idea of "America First" in its foreign policy, but the administration of current President Joe Biden has adopted a tough policy on some security issues, including before China and Russia.
Noting tensions between the US and China over Taiwan, Kissinger warned that such a confrontational approach could lead to "endless conflict" and prevent both countries from reaching their desired goal.
Naming the United States and China as the two largest countries in the world, he called on Beijing and Washington to set the stage for creating an atmosphere for doing great things in the world through increased dialogue and cooperation, adding, "It will certainly benefit both them and the world."
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Henry Kissinger, recently acknowledging the declining influence and popularity of the United States at the world level, said that the countries of the world do not agree with the US position regarding the legitimacy and lack of selfish goals in this country's foreign policy.
