Knife attack in Germany
Two people, an adult and a child, were killed in a stabbing attack in Germany on Wednesday.
Officials at the scene have said that two people were killed and several others were injured on Wednesday after a knife attack in a park in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
A German police statement said they had arrested a suspect following a knife attack in the southeastern city of Aschaffenburg in Bavaria.
On the other hand, the Black Country Police Department in Birmingham, England, has announced that it has arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of murder after being informed of a knife attack on a 12-year-old boy.
Police have stated that the child who was attacked with a knife fell to the road after being seriously injured and was taken to hospital, but efforts to save his life were unsuccessful due to the injuries he sustained. For some time now, concerns have been growing about the declining age of criminals in Europe, especially in the UK.
Reports indicate that in the past year, 23 young people have been killed in London alone, with most of the attacks carried out with knives and other sharp instruments.
The UK's National Statistics Office recently announced that more than 9 million crime incidents were witnessed in the country; a figure that is the highest in the country's history.
