French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his “firm opposition” to the Israeli attack on Rafah.
According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, in a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Macron once again called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, warned against the "forcible displacement of the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip" and called it a war crime.
He also informed Netanyahu of his intention to submit a draft resolution demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to Middle East News, the French President also strongly condemned the Zionist regime's recent statements on settlement development.
Macron further stressed the need to open all land crossings with the Gaza Strip without delay and without any conditions.
