Made in the USA: The Tragic Toll of White Phosphorus Attacks on Gaza
Phosphorus, a highly flammable substance, ignites when exposed to air and water. Its combustion releases a toxic poison, causing deadly respiratory problems. Contact with this substance on the head and face is considered fortunate, as it swiftly causes death within a mere two seconds, without inflicting more suffering. However, if this substance enters the bloodstream, it causes the marrow and bones of living beings to burn. Gaza is currently facing a significant onslaught of phosphorus bombs, resulting in the tragic loss of innocent lives, particularly children. These bombs, proudly labeled "made in the USA," serve as a reminder of the ongoing tragedy faced by the people of Gaza.
