Missile attack on US base in Syria
Informed sources reported another missile attack on a US military base in the city of Deir ez-Zor, located in eastern Syria.
As Sana reported on Wednesday, informed sources reported that the US military base in Deir ez-Zor in Syria was hit by a missile attack. Yesterday it became known that the attack took place at the US base at the Koniko gas field, located in the northeast of Deir ez-Zor province (in eastern Syria). Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, saying that U.S. bases in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 27 times in the past two weeks, announced that the U.S. would deploy an additional 300 troops to Central Command's West Asia area of operational responsibility.
