Will Türkiye launch a ground operation in Iraqi territory?

Hürriyet newspaper reported that Ankara is continuing its preparations for a major land operation in northern Iraq, and that this operation will lead to full control in an area up to 40 kilometers deep in the border region of the two countries.

Hürriyet announced that preparations are continuing for a major land operation in the Muhlip operation area, pointing to the agreement reached by Anakra with Baghdad and Erbil .

The newspaper emphasized that the goals of this operation were to establish military bases in that region and to destroy all PKK positions with air support .

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense announced a new attack against the PKK in Northern Iraq.

According to TRT, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today (Sunday) that the armed forces of this country killed four militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in an operation in Northern Iraq. 
In its statement in this context, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense said, “Our fight against terrorism continues effectively and decisively. 4 PKK terrorists were killed in an air attack in northern Iraq. “Our operations continue uninterrupted.” Said.
77 militants were killed in Ankara's previous airstrikes against the PKK in mid-January.
