The Lebanese Foreign Minister stressed the need to establish a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Ahad website, Abdallah Buhabib stressed on Saturday that the end to collective punishment in Gaza and the killing of Palestinian children cannot be temporary or for a limited period associated with a humanitarian ceasefire, but must become a permanent ceasefire. Buhabib added that today we face a real opportunity to stop a destructive war. ماجد الانصاری Majid Al-Ansari, Qatar's Foreign Minister, expressed hope for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and said Doha would closely monitor the situation in Gaza. Al-Ansari stressed that humanitarian aid trucks have arrived in the Gaza Strip and vital aid has been distributed to the people. The four-day ceasefire between the Zionist regime and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas began at 7 a.m. Friday. The Palestinian resistance, in response to more than seventy years of occupation and aggression by the Zionist regime against the inhabitants of Gaza and other areas of the occupied territories, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the regime on October 7. As usual, the Zionist regime responded to the operations of the resistance fighters with massacres of civilians and bombing of residential areas. Ultimately, this regime admitted the failure of the operation to free the captives and surrendered to the resistance.
