Bin Salman: Attacking civilians is unacceptable
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, at the opening of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit, said that attacks on Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip are unacceptable under any pretext. The meeting of leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council and member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) began with a speech by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, which was dedicated to current events in the occupied territories. According to ArabNews, Mohammad bin Salman at the opening of this forum, speaking about the events in occupied Palestine and the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, added: “We support achieving a final settlement of the Palestinian issue.” He also noted: “Civilians are paying the price for the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. We are saddened by the violence we have witnessed in the Gaza Strip and emphasize the need to stop the violence and support civilians." The Saudi Crown Prince added that the military operation in Gaza, which is affecting civilian lives and infrastructure, must end. “We demand a just solution to create an independent Palestinian state in a way that ensures security and prosperity for all,” he concluded.
