In December 2020, Morocco and the illegal regime of Israel reached an agreement to establish normal relations with the influence of the United States. And as part of that agreement, then US President Donald Trump agreed to recognize Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara. However, the government of the country's current president, Joe Biden, has said it will reconsider the decision.
