Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, declared that the response to the assassination of resistance commanders is unequivocal. He emphasized that neither the Islamic Republic of Iran nor Lebanon will remain silent in the face of Zionist crimes.
In a statement, Nasrallah expressed his condolences for the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, and Fuad Shukur, a senior Hezbollah commander. He reaffirmed that the Lebanese Islamic Resistance stands in solidarity with Hamas and will continue to oppose Israeli occupation until a decisive victory is achieved.
Referring to recent events in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, Nasrallah described the operation as an attack and part of the broader Zionist-American war against Lebanon. He also denied Hezbollah's involvement in the attack on Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan, calling the accusation a baseless attempt to absolve the Zionist army.
Nasrallah warned that the Zionist enemy should brace for the anger and retaliation of the free people of the Ummah and the Muslims. He asserted that assassinations targeting resistance leaders only serve to strengthen the resolve and growth of the resistance.
"The resistance axis has been waging this battle for many years with a combination of anger, reason, and logic," Nasrallah stated. He concluded by stressing that the resistance seeks a calculated and substantial response against the genocidal Israeli regime.
This statement underscores the heightened tensions and the commitment of the resistance axis to respond to perceived aggressions, further complicating the volatile dynamics in the region.
