Netanyahu's crazy Rhetoric on Iran
A few years ago, Netanyahu presented an excessively naïve and inane show ostensibly to address Iran's water shortage by stating that it could be resolved simply by drinking a glass of water.
Ironically, recent leaked reports indicate growing challenges faced by the Israeli regime in managing and bearing the cost of fresh water supply.
As an urgent measure to tackle the acute shortage of fresh water and the rising expenses of seawater desalination, Mekorot, Israel's main organization in charge of water management, has disclosed plans to increase the cost of potable water.
This increase is reportedly set to affect all sectors, including domestic, commercial, industrial, and agricultural consumers, and is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2025.
However, the decision has faced considerable backlash, particularly from the head of the Israeli Manufacturers Association, who voiced concerns that this move could aggravate Israel's economic turmoil amid the ongoing war and the concomitant financial strain, thus, exacerbating the water crisis.
As such, the water crisis has evolved into a pressing challenge with the potential to severely impact the crumbling Israeli economy.
