In #France, violence against women is on the rise

 In France, one out of every two women has been sexually assaulted. 16% of French citizens have been sexually molested as children, and approximately 80% of women with disabilities have been sexually abused. Women with disabilities are four times as likely as other women to suffer sexual violence. Women aged 18 to 75 have been physically or sexually abused by their spouses or partners. 29% of these individuals are between the ages of 18 and 29. Women know the offenders in 91% of cases of sexual assault. 85% of transgender individuals have had a transphobic attack, particularly on the street. One in every six women engages in non-consensual sex and an involuntary relationship. 75% of Islamophobic assaults are directed against Muslim women. In total working hours, women earn 28.5% less than males.
