The President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, Thursday (25/4/2024) emphasized the urgency of the world's response to the crimes of the Zionist Regime, against the Palestinian people, in the Gaza Strip.
He said, "We demand firm steps to crack down on the genocidal crimes of the Israeli occupation forces, in the Gaza Strip."
The Nicaraguan President added, "I also invite Palestine, to join the Bolivarian Alliance of Latin American Nations, ALBA."
According to Ortega, when the vote regarding Palestine's full membership as an independent state at the UN was held, the United States used its veto to support Israel's war on Gaza.
Previously, the Nicaraguan government also complained to Germany to the International Court of Justice, ICJ, because of that country's support for the Zionist Regime, in the genocide of the Gaza people, and received a response from Hamas.
