Edward Buba, the spokesman of the Nigerian army has told journalists in Abuja that 135 other terrorists have been arrested by the military in different areas of the operations during the one week period.
The statement added that 76 hostages have been freed from the hands of the terrorists and 241 weapons of various types and 3,254 bullets have been seized by the army.
In one part of his speech in front of the press, Buba said: "The ongoing operations to fight terrorism and counter insurgents have caused great losses to the terrorists. The (Nigerian) army has decided to continue these operations to prevent criminal gangs from reaching their goals .
Similarly, the spokesperson of the Nigerian army has said: "When the war is in full swing, our soldiers continue to find creative solutions to the challenges that arise in the operation and agree to change according to the environment in order to increase the success of the work in all aspects of the operation. "
Also in October this year, the Nigerian army killed 101 terrorists during a week of operations targeting Boko Haram terrorists, ISWAP which is a branch of the ISIS terrorist group in West Africa along with other criminal gangs.
