The Nobel Prize winner in literature expressed hope that Netanyahu will curb his brutal nature and stop the massacre of Palestinians. Mario Vargas Llosa, a Nobel Prize winner in literature from Peru who recently said goodbye to novel writing at the age of 87, condemned the brutal behavior of the Zionist regime, Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported. Llosa, pointing to the role of information in preventing war, added: “I believe that in our time information has a significant effect. Almost 50 years ago, wars were endless and there were no solutions to end them because information was not available to the masses of people so quickly and widely." He called his latest work a fulfillment of duty to his homeland, Peru, and encourages young people to follow the original themes and content. Llosa received the Nobel Prize in Literature on October 7, 2010.
