Norway: The situation in the Gaza Strip is dire and critical

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Bart Eide, saying that the situation in Gaza is critical, asserted: “What is happening in Gaza is terrible and scary.” According to Norwegian news agency, the Norwegian Foreign Minister said in an interview on Tuesday: “Israel announced that its attacks are aimed at fighting Hamas, but we are witnessing the death of more than 10 thousand civilians in the Gaza Strip.” Meanwhile, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Tuesday called on all parties in Gaza to agree to a ceasefire on humanitarian grounds. Noting “how long will this human catastrophe continue,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus added: “History will judge what we did to end this crisis.” Zionist crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip continue while Palestinian media report that more than 13,500 martyrs have been martyred or missing since the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
