Mohamed Salah Tekaya, who is the chairman of the group of election observers from the OIC community in the Russian presidential election, has said that managing the election is one of the main tasks of the group and is the basis of "the rule of law and transparency in the conduct of elections". .
The Director General of Political Affairs in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has thanked Russia for inviting them to monitor the presidential election exercise and said, they have discovered that the Russian presidential election is of great importance in the life of the country, especially in the lives of the Russian people. . Tekaya said, the OIC delegation has visited many polling stations in Moscow and witnessed the voting process. "We are satisfied that Russia has provided enough opportunities for the people of that country to participate in the elections", said Tekaya.
At the same time, Shakir Mohamoud Bandar, the head of the election monitoring group within the OIC community, has explained that this is the second time for the community to monitor the Russian presidential election. He added that the OIC supports good relations with the United Nations, the Arab League, the European Union and the African Union.
