Palestinian Authority spokesman Nabil Abu Radina said the United States had contributed to the escalation of the war by supplying Israel with weapons in a conflict that could involve other countries in the region, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
He added that the head of the Palestinian Authority believes that “the so-called aid package approved by the US House of Representatives calls into question Washington’s authority in achieving security and stability in West Asia.”
Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, also called the US use of a veto against giving Palestine full membership in the United Nations a "disappointing, regrettable, shameful, irresponsible and unjustifiable position."
The US House of Representatives on Saturday approved a $26 billion military aid package for the Zionist regime.
The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the Biden administration is considering a new arms deal that would sell more than $1 billion in weapons to Israel.
This is the largest military deal the US will make with Israel since the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip began on October 7.
Implementation of this arms deal requires the approval of congressional leaders and will be handed over to the Israeli regime over a long period of time, which could take several years.
