Fierce armed conflict took place between Palestinian fighters and soldiers of the Zionist regime in the southern city of Tubas in the West Bank of the Jordan River. Saraya Al-Quds Battalion, Military Wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad in a statement Monday (4/9/2023) announced that Palestinian fighters entered into armed conflict with Israeli military forces in the Tamun area, south of the city of Tubas which is located on the West Bank of the Jordan River. The Saraya Al-Quds Battalion opened fire on soldiers of the Zionist regime and their military vehicles that surrounded a Palestinian house. Previously, the Zionists only fought against the Palestinians in the south of the occupied territories and in the Gaza area. But now it extends to the West Bank in the eastern territories of Occupied Palestine (PH).

A recent survey conducted among the youth of Arab countries shows that 100 percent of Iraqi and Palestinian youth are against compromise with the Zionist regime. In September 2020, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Sudan, with the mediation of the then US government led by Donald Trump, signed an agreement to normalize relations with the Zionist regime known as the Abraham Accords and formally established diplomatic relations with Tel Aviv, which caused international condemnation. According to a poll conducted by ASDA'A BCW, 100 percent of Iraqi and Palestinian youths expressed their rejection of the idea of a diplomatic compromise with the Zionist regime.

This is despite the fact that 99 per cent of young people in Libya share the same opinion, and 98 per cent of young Lebanese are also against normalizing relations with Israel. According to this report, 98 percent of Saudi Arabian youth affirmed their rejection of normalizing relations with Israel, despite efforts being made to lay the groundwork for their country's reconciliation with the Zionist regime. Based on the results of this survey, 97 percent of Sudanese youth, 94 percent of Jordanian youth, 86 percent of Kuwaiti youth, and 85 percent of Tunisian youth also expressed their rejection of normalizing relations with the Zionist regime.(PH)
