Turkey's ruling party: Israel's crimes in Gaza constitute genocide

Omer Celik, at a meeting of the executive committee of this party in Ankara, accused the international community of inaction and said: “We are faced with a genocide similar to Srebrenica. Stressing the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, Celik said Europeans believe the problem can be solved by watching from the sidelines. A representative of Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party also demanded that obstacles to sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip be removed. Celik added that at least 500 trucks carrying humanitarian aid should be sent to Gaza every day; In the last 32 days [since the conflict began], only 450 trucks have arrived in Gaza. In the shadow of some Western countries' support for Israel, the Zionist regime's crimes against the people of Gaza are becoming more brutal every day. Since October 7, at least 11,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 26,000 injured as a result of the Zionist regime's aggression in the Gaza Strip. Most of the martyrs and wounded are children and women.
