The chant of “No to war” is no longer just an international slogan—it’s now echoing from within the ranks of the Israeli military.

Reports from Israeli media reveal growing resistance among reserve soldiers who are refusing to return to duty and take part in expanded ground operations in Gaza.

While opposition to the war is mounting across society, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s relentless political ambition—and his fear of losing power in a post-war Israel—continue to fuel this exhausting conflict.

He’s now earned a new nickname among Israelis: “Mr. War.”

Soldiers and officers are increasingly declining to re-enlist, weary from a war that’s wreaked havoc on their personal lives, jobs, and education.

Many have lost employment. Others have been forced to drop out of school.

The spike in divorce rates among military families paints a stark picture of the pressure this war is placing on its own forces.

And still, no one knows how long Netanyahu will continue sacrificing both his people and the innocent Palestinians on the altar of unchecked power.
