Patrushev: The US is abusing NATO member countries

  The Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia has announced that the unlimited expansion of the Western Military Alliance (NATO) has provided an opening for the United States to make many countries its vassals. Nikolai Petrushev has explained that, the West often rushes to use military force, threats and coercion, special forces and racial revolution to control the world. The Russian official has criticized the US-led military bloc for what he called "hypocrisy," and said that while NATO claims to support peace, it is waging war against countries that oppose Washington's policies around the world while threatening to start a war and take military action. The Secretary of the National Security Council of Russia added that, in the past seven decades, NATO member countries have participated and fought more than 200 wars in various areas of the world. He said that Western countries see Russia as a permanent threat because those countries remember that the Soviet Union played an important role in destroying the colonial system.
