Military aid in the amount of 40.3 million euros, which was previously intended for Kyiv, will not be sent to Ukraine by order of the new Slovak government. According to the TASS news agency, the Slovak Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Tuesday that the country's Defense Minister Robert Kaliniak informed NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that his country would no longer send weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. In a statement, Slovakia's Ministry of Defense said the country continues to send humanitarian assistance and technical advice, but all this assistance is aimed at ensuring that none of this assistance results in loss of life. Earlier, the Hungarian Foreign Minister, who attended the EU meeting in Brussels, announced his country’s refusal to allocate funds for arms assistance to Ukraine. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Monday that his country had refused to allocate 500 million euros to send weapons to Ukraine. Claiming that Russia's attack on its country is an act against all of Europe, the Kiev government has so far attracted hundreds of billions of dollars in military aid from Western countries.
