Politico: Pentagon Doesn't Have Money to Strengthen Military in Middle East
United States media reported that the Pentagon did not have sufficient financial resources to strengthen its military presence in the West Asia (Middle East) region.
Politico, Tuesday (28/11/2023) reported on the United States' military assistance to the Zionist Regime in the war in the Gaza Strip. "The lack of agreement in Congress to pass the new year's military budget is due to this problem," he added. The Pentagon currently only has a limited budget that comes from the previous fiscal year's budget, because the new military budget for this year has not been approved. A spokesperson for the US Armed Forces previously said, "Middle East conditions require extraordinary steps that require the Pentagon to reallocate funding from other posts, reduce allocations for preparation, and deployment and training of troops." Therefore, said a spokesperson for the United States Armed Forces, a number of US Department of Defense programs may be canceled or reduced. On the other hand, a US official, claimed, President Joe Biden, warned about a new round of military operations of the Zionist Regime, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
