The US Secretary of State has announced that Washington is about to offer Ukraine a new $200 million security assistance package. According to The Wall Street Journal, Anthony Blinken said: "Washington, its allies and partners will support Ukraine until Russia stops the war." This package includes anti-aircraft ammunition, mortars and other mine clearance equipment. And this despite the fact that Moscow, on the other hand, has repeatedly stated that peace is possible only when the Ukrainian army lays down its arms. Despite the fact that Ukraine is under the armed support of the West, it is difficult for it to carry out counterattacks against the rigid resistance of the Russians.

Former CIA expert Larry Johnson said: "The West forced Ukraine to launch a counterattack, although this country was not ready for it." He considered it a crime against Ukrainian soldiers. Advisor to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the proposal to this country to give up its territorial claims in exchange for Ukraine's membership in NATO's North Atlantic bloc. According to the RT news agency, Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, on the X (formerly Twitter) social network, called the idea of the North Atlantic Alliance for Ukraine to join this bloc as ridiculous and mockery. He added that the only solution was for the West to speed up the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Podolyak stated that attempts to maintain world order and establish a bad peace would not lead to world peace. Stan Jensen, head of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's office, said yesterday that the US-led bloc could offer Ukraine an agreement under which Ukraine must give up its territorial claims in exchange for membership in the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his officials say they will not enter into peace talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and will not stop the war over Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. It should be recalled that following the results of the referendum last September in the Donetsk Republic, the Luhansk Republic, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, these territories joined the Russian Federation. Zelensky promised to win even Crimea from Russia. Last year, Russian head of state Vladimir Putin announced his readiness to hold peace talks with Ukraine and called on the Kyiv authorities to end the hostility. However, Zelensky, who is under the influence of the militaristic leadership of the West, said he was ready to sit down at the negotiating table only when another president comes to power in Russia.
