Pro-Palestine rally in Germany

  Despite the announcement of a ban on pro-Palestine rallies in Germany, Palestinian supporters gathered in the German city of Frankfurt. According to the Gosteleradio news agency, Palestinian supporters held a rally in Frankfurt (Germany) and chanted slogans in support of the oppressed people of Palestine. At this rally, German police confronted Palestinian supporters in Frankfurt and arrested them. The rally came as German Chancellor Olaf Schulz threatened in the Bundestag last Thursday that any support for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) would be punished. The German chancellor's threatening remarks come as organizers of last week's Palestinian solidarity marches in Germany accused Berlin police of racism.
