Video posted on social media shows Palestine Action activists protesting outside the Elbit Systems headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. Protesters chanted: “Elbit Systems must go.” Some protesters told security guards and police officers, “You are defending the genocide of children,” and called them “fucking pigs,” while police shouted, “Get back!” Protesters could also be heard shouting “Free Palestine!” Nine arrests were made after protesters broke through barricades protecting the building and blocked the entrance, according to Palestine Action US. The group also said Cambridge police pepper-sprayed several protesters. Elbit Systems, an international defense electronics company, is Israel's largest weapons supplier. The company's U.S. subsidiary, Elbit Systems of America, has operating facilities in Texas, New Hampshire, Alabama, Virginia and Florida, according to the company's website. This comes after Palestine Action US activists threw red paint and blocked the entrance to an Elbit Systems facility in Boston earlier this month. The group says Elbit Systems is “provoking genocide of the Palestinian people.”
