Procession Arba'een- a manifestation of love and affection for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)
The procession of Arbain pilgrims along Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) on the way from Najaf to Karbala is a manifestation of love and affection for Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his associates who died during the uprising in Karbala. According to local news correspondent in Iraq, Arbain Husseini's pilgrims these days cover the 80-kilometer route from Najaf to Karbala in three days to reach the tomb of His Grace Imam Hussein. The procession of the Arbaeen pilgrims on Imam Hussain (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) along this route symbolizes the peak of affection for the leader of the Martyrs of the Karbala Plains, as each pilgrim walks the path of Karbala with the symbol of the school of Ashura, such as Hussein.
Women, men and young people who love Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) are walking the path of honoring the sacrifice, self-sacrifice and selflessness of the martyrs centuries after the Karbala incident. Processional service, food preparation and hospitality by Iraqis, especially Iraqi women, who greet the pilgrims of Arbaeen Husseini (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) with the baking of local bread add beauty to the teaching and continuation of the school of the family of Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them). The Arbaeen procession of pilgrims of different nationalities stretched along the 80-kilometer route from Najaf to Karbala, and despite differences in race, ethnicity and religion, they all follow the same path.
