Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre protested against Zionist crimes in the Gaza Strip on Friday evening and said: "Israel's heavy bombing of the Gaza Strip is a clear violation of the international laws of war." According to the Norwegian Prime Minister added: "Civilians have the right to defend themselves, and Israel's violation of the international laws of war must be condemned." Amid a sharp increase in civilian casualties in Gaza as a result of attacks by the Zionist regime, Belgian authorities have also declared that Israel's bombing of Gaza is inhumane. At a conference in Brussels on Friday, Belgian Prime Minister Alexandre de Cros called Israel's attacks on Gaza "disproportionate." On Wednesday, Belgium's deputy prime minister made a rare European request for sanctions against Israel. Green Party politician Petra de Soutter said: “Now is the time to boycott Israel. The bombing of the Gaza Strip is inhumane." Caroline Gennes, Belgium's Minister of Cooperation and Development, also said in support of the Palestinian people that the government of that country is considering recognizing a Palestinian state.

On Friday, Furat Ben Chiha, vice-president of the Belgian Senate, protested against Zionist crimes in the Gaza Strip and said: “You don’t have to be a human rights professor or an international lawyer to understand that international laws are not respected in this war.” In response to more than 7 decades of occupation of Palestine and more than 10 years of siege of the Gaza Strip, as well as the imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, the Islamic resistance movement Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7th. The operation is considered one of the deadliest attacks against the regime; Hamas fighters entered the occupied territories through border barriers at several points, attacked villages and killed or captured a number of Israeli soldiers. Therefore, to compensate for its defeats in resistance operations, the Zionist regime has repeatedly bombed various areas of the Gaza Strip since October 7, killing at least 11,092 Palestinians, including 4,506 children, 3,27 women and 678 elderly people. Also, the number of victims of the crimes of the Zionist regime increased to more than 27,490 people.
