The list of recommendations on the results of the meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects was published on the Kremlin website.
"The Russian government, in order to achieve technological leadership in the field, should ensure the accelerated development of the unmanned aviation sector, paying special attention to indicators characterizing the volume of the Russian market and the production of unmanned aviation systems, as well as the need to train personnel and create appropriate infrastructure in the regions of the Russian Federation," the document says.
The deadline has been set for March 1, 2025, and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has been appointed responsible.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that, in accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, new types of troops will be formed in the Russian Armed Forces in the third quarter of 2025 - troops of unmanned systems.
