The Russian President added that Russia seeks to maintain and develop relations with all Latin American countries and is committed to ensuring that the region remains strong, independent and successful in all its unity and diversity.This international conference hosted by the Duma brought together more than 200 participants, including legislators from Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The program continues through Monday to discuss international issues, including the emergence of a multipolar world and the maintenance of international security.The increasing military, political and economic power of China, Russia, India, Brazil and several other developing countries in Asia, Latin America and other regions of the world has increased pressure on the US-based unipolar system.Many countries in the world, including Russia, emphasize revising the current world order and moving the international system towards a multipolar world.
