Putin Warns of Israeli Ground Operation into Gaza

The Russian President warned that the Zionist regime's ground attack on Gaza would have far-reaching consequences and intolerable civilian casualties. Vladimir Putin, Friday (13/10/2023) as quoted by Sputnik, said that Israel's ground operation into Gaza would result in many civilian casualties, and what was more important at this time was stopping the bloodshed. The Russian President also touched on the obstacles created by the United States in efforts to resolve the crisis in Palestine. He said, "This escalation of violence is a large-scale tragedy due to the failure of United States policy, so it must reach a dead end." 

According to Vladimir Putin, the United States is not trying to find a peaceful solution to resolve the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. At the same time, the Russian President assessed that the use of heavy weapons in Palestinian residential areas would have serious consequences for all parties. "And most importantly, the loss of civilian casualties is absolutely intolerable. Currently the most important problem is stopping the bloodshed," he concluded.
