The Lebanese authorities have condemned the attack by the Zionist military on Lebanese demonstrators in Kafr Shuba. On Thursday, Arab sources said there was a marked escalation in security on Lebanon's southern border after the Israeli army invaded the hills of Kafr Shoba. Residents of Kafr Shuba protested against the excavations and other encroachments of the Zionist army, held demonstrations behind the barbed wire fence (the so-called "blue line") and demanded that the UN peacekeeping force (UNIFIL) establish its jurisdiction in the area.

On the other hand, on Friday, the Zionist occupying forces attacked residents of the Kafr Shuba and Al Arkoub districts, who were protesting against the demolition of their homes and the destruction of their land by the troops. The demonstrators threw stones at them in response to the use of tear gas by the occupiers.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army troops were widely deployed in the area and the situation approached an armed confrontation. Ali Fayaz, a member of a faction loyal to the resistance in the Lebanese parliament, said in a TV interview that Israel knows that continuing to violate the red line will cost it dearly, Al-Alam reported. Also, Kamal Al Khair, head of the National Center in Northern Lebanon, praising the courage of the people of Kafr Shuba and the Lebanese army, questioned the role of the international forces stationed in Southern Lebanon in the face of repeated Zionist attacks on Lebanon.

He emphasized that the Lebanese army's support for the people of Kafr Shuba highlights the need to adhere to the synergy of army, nation and resistance in confronting the Zionist enemy and its encroachment in Lebanon, as experience has proven that Zionists only understand the language of resistance.

Al-Khair emphasized that resistance is the main guarantee that the Lebanese emphasize in supporting against the enemy, because if there was no resistance, most of southern Lebanon would not be liberated from the invaders, but thanks to the efforts of the resistance, all the lands of Lebanon will be liberated in the area farms of Shebaa and on the hills of Kafr Shuba.

In this regard, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, in a telephone conversation with Ismail Nasser, a simple Lebanese shepherd who stood in front of the bulldozers of the Zionist regime, praised his heroic and courageous actions in defending his homeland and resisting the aggression of the Zionist regime, noting: “A nation with such a strong will surely win, and the occupation regime will be destroyed.”

The Palestinian Union of Workers in Lebanon also condemned the Zionist attack on the farmers and residents of Kafr Shuba, which is an attempt to complete the policy of expropriating the residents' land and attacking their owners in a hostile manner. The statement of this union added that the continuation of the policy of aggression and aggression against the international community and all international institutions is carried out without any obstacles and testifies to the policy of double standards of the international community, and the Arab societies and politicians remain silent and take steps towards normalization with this regime, while the peoples have always declared their opposition to various forms of normalization of relations with Israel.
