The Democratic Party candidate in the U.S. intra-partisan presidential election, stating that Russia would not lose in the war in Ukraine, recognized the superiority of Russian artillery power over the United States.

According to the Sputnik news agency, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admitted: “The Russians cannot lose this war. We are told that they are losing, but they are building up their military power, they have artillery superiority over the United States.”

The American politician also warned that Washington does not have artillery reserves to replace the equipment destroyed during the war. Kennedy called the war in Ukraine the most violent conflict since World War II and added: "The government of Kyiv and the United States are working hard to cover up the catastrophic loss of Ukraine's armed forces."

Kennedy Jr. added that the war could have been avoided if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had promised before the Russian attack that his country would not join NATO. So far, in several stages, Russia and China have submitted peace proposals that have been rejected by the US and Ukrainian authorities. The US has provided more than $35 billion worth of weapons to Kyiv, part of NATO's $165 billion military aid to Kyiv over the past year.
